If you had purchased 2 of the models, you could have kept one in its
sealed plastic wrap in the event it one day became valuable (a gamble
of which the odds are comparable to those of winning in a gambling
hall).
Certain comic books have great value as collector's items when they
are kept in mint condition enclosed in plastic wrap. When I think of
the hundreds of comic books I had as a child, and how wealthy they
would have made me had I only known of their future value, it makes
me ill to think about it.
