I don't really know the whole story. After all, I live in new Jersey.
(g) But I have a lenapi friend who was pretty angry about it. They
may, however, mean that there is no officially recognized Lenapi nation
there, and that is true.

I know some-one who is Shinnecock. They're not officially recognized by
anyone. Officially they are extinct.
