First off, let me wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (and 
Season's Greetings).
We are continuing to work on the ARJ 2.55 release.  I have a new beta release 
of ARJ almost ready.  
At the same time, we continue to monitor the public testing of JAR 1.01. 
There have only been a few minor trouble reports. 
We would like to hear from you if you find anything unexpected in both ARJ 
and JAR.  We will AWARD free registrations to those who first report serious 
problems (in our judgment) to us.
It is our intention at ARJ Software to continue enhancing and supporting ARJ 
in the future.  ARJ and JAR have their special places as archivers.
