Quite frankly, I wish Obama had put his hand on a copy of the Constitution
when he was sworn in. It would have made good theater as well as maybe
making those that have been disenfranchised since 2000 feel like they
belong to this country again.

I also wish that other politicians would remember that they put their hand
on a bible and swear to uphold the Constitution...not the other way around.

Apples and oranges. Both the US and SC state constitutions state very
clearly that there should be no religious test for ANY political office. I
wish those sections would be upheld.
