Re: Free SCO Openserver Licences...
Hi, I was wondering if I could ask you a couple questions regarding the
offer you posted on behalf of Monika Laud at SCO.
I've contacted the webpage, and ordered the licence for the SCO open
server, and the information I recieved on what was to be actually obtained
was a little on the vauge side, I am hoping that you might be able to clear
things up for me a bit... Please.... :)
1) The document I was requested to print describes the licence numbers and
licence data that I will need during my install of the SCO@ Unixware@. Does
this mean that they will be shipping me SCO Unix v2.1?
2) SCO Unix v2.1 is not the latest version, by far! At the school where I
am undergoing re-education using Unix, the version is 4.xx. Does this play
a major factor in my request of licence?
I hope that you are able to answer my questions, as I have no E-Mail
account access to be able to contact Monica Laud (monikal@sco.com), and could
barely use the net at school to get the licence information.
Thanks for your time, and the Information you posted!!!! :)
