The problem is the 3.11 servers.  They are bindery based.  The 4.11 one is 
NDS based.  NDS can allow you to magically use resources known to it.  
However, non-NDS servers do not count.  Therefore, you must enter a 
USERID/PASSWORD.  The only solution is to perform an attach in the login 
script.  ATTACHes in the login script do not require entering a userid and 
password, PROVIDED the userid and password are the same on the 4.11 and 3.11 
servers.
