I think it's too obvious for that... and not FTN-related (more generic).

That should be the first step when developing software.

However, I'm mostly brushing the existing code, so I need real messages
(published in real echoes by other people with different software) for
testing...

I use VPSes (containers) for that purpose: this also allows quick node
migration, once I'd need that.

VMs (VDSes) seem to be the overkill for FTN software... unless you need to
perform tests on various proprietary systems, of course.

There's no such thing as a cloud - there are only computers you don't own (or
even control). And when someone tells you about clouds, they are very likely
creating the fog for whatever reasons :-)
