The good development tools for OS/2 exist, only thing is they are expensive.
I had the occasion of attending a seminar on OO development where IBM showed
their VisualAge tools. I must say these tools are quite understandable and
easy to use. I had a go with the Smalltalk version of it and found myself
doing some amazing stuff. The only real pitty is that they do not support a
Pascal language derivate, but then again IBM would not be IBM ... ;-))
