Giguere, Mighty Ducks Shut Out Sharks (AP)

Anaheim goalie returned from his timeout, he personally made it up to
his teammates. Giguere stopped 34 shots and Todd Fedoruk scored in the
second period of the Mighty Ducks' second shutout win in San Jose in 10
days, 2-0 over the Sharks on Saturday night.
Penn State Rallies Past No. 6 Illinois (AP)
AP - Rich McBride thought he had saved Illinois' home-winning streak. He
was just a split-second too late. McBride's shot came just after the
buzzer and Penn State held off No. 6 Illinois 66-65 on Saturday night,
ending the Illini's home winning streak at 33 games.
Acasuso Reaches Final at Movistar Open (AP)
AP - Third-seeded Jose Acasuso of Argentina beat Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo
of Spain 6-2, 6-4 on Saturday to reach the Movistar Open final.
Teenager Amy Lang Wins ANZ Ladies Masters (AP)
AP - Amy Yang, a local 16-year-old high school student, birdied the
first playoff hole against American Catherine Cartwright to win the ANZ
Australian Ladies Masters on Sunday.
