I will respond here in two parts.

Rodgers was not in the stands, but on the sidelines. Rodgers was there because he wanted to be, he was even throwing the football about, not because he was ready to go onto to the field, simply because he wanted to be there supporting for his team. His presence as he seen within stands w/ the previous weeks or being on the sideline as he was at the Eagles / Jets game
Inspires his team mates. 
He faking nothing I follow the Jets as a superfan, and I saw the achilles pop on the re-play, the night it happened.
