Schumacher could cash in as rain comes down

(25-Jul-98) - Michael Schumacher's luck during the mid-season has held out
in Austria with rain starting to fall just one hour before the crucial
qualifying session at the A1-Ring started.

The German, the acknowledged wet-weather expert, had ended the dry morning
practice sessions more than one second adrift of McLaren's David Coulthard
and Mika Hakkinen, but should expect better fortunes this afternoon.

McLaren had brought in a local weather expert to give his expectations for
the day -- and his predictions of the sun going in at 11am and the rain
falling at 12pm was spot on.
