I could do that, a long time ago. Slide rules and calculators changed all
that.

I have those too. My mother made crafts and sold them during the holidays.
I have some of those too. My dad came back from WW2 with a few Nazi
souviners and I have some of those too. Especially neat was the officers
holster with a .25 auto pistol in it.  I used to sneak it out of his
drawer  when I was a kid and take it out for target practice. I always
bought new ammo for those occasions and left his alone. I don't think he
ever knew. I did some gun-smithing on it for him some years later,
replacing a lost ejector after seeing the one he attempted to make for it.
