Actually, he was talking about running TimEd as a user accessible message
reader/editor. He'd need to run the Doorway program off Max to do that _and_
the user would need a good terminal program like Telix which supports
"doorway mode".

It would be-- for sure. I thought it was a really bad idea but SH brought up
something I hadn't thought of. It *may* be possible to do it safely with the
RELEASE version of TimEd (1.10) by redefining its keys and (also) imposing
certain restrictions on Doorway.
