Todayon this most momentous occasion, Drumboys ordered the King to kneel,
touched him on both shoulders with the sword of Excalibur, and announced
to the company present, namely of alt.tv.star-trek.voyager:

D :T"oday the King of Cyberia walked on stage, wiggled said hiney and
D :spoke to the members of alt.tv.star-trek.voyager:"
D :Or at least he tried to. Once we got done bonking and thwaping him for
D :various reasons,

Hey!

D :we sent in Shammie (his esteemed XO) to hug and kiss him for reasons of
D :her own. We've learned it's better not to ask. Then we decided to

NSS.

D :annoint his head with This Is Who They Are status. So in the great
D :tradition of our purely fabricated pomp and circumstance, we give you
D :the newest member of our delustrious, degenerate, and completely
D :irreformable mob of maggots.

I'm a fly.

D :
D :KC, aka His Hineyness, the King of Cyweirdia, is Captain Edward Jellico.

B-b-b-b-b-bbb-but Edward "Bellicose" Jellico is not a nice guy!
He was willing to sacrifice Picard!!

D :
D :If ever there was someone to respect, it was Jellico, that relentless
D :commander whose ironhanded rule left no room for lenience. But you have to
D :admire someone with convictions so strong that he will risk his life and the
D :lives of his crew for them in order to accomplish a mission. And for all
D :his tough exterior, Jellico was able to swallow his pride and appeal to his
D :first officer for help.

This is what I found on a Geocities review site.
--------- "Chain of Command, Part 2"
The real juice of the story comes from watching Edward Jellico ("the
Captain from hell," as someone put it) assume command of the
Enterprise. Ronny Cox does a super job, giving us a very good feel for
Jellico, a forthright, militant hot-head whose style of command makes
Picard look positively laid-back (contrast his "get it done" motto
with Picard's "make it so"). Acting like something of a bossy,
authoritorian old school master, Jellico ruffles just about everyone's
feathers as he starts re-organising and re-arranging the ship.
===========

D :Like Jellico, KC may appear intimidating on the outside, but it's
D :only because he's a man of unflinching beliefs who will not pander to
D :anything less than *getting the job done* no matter what it takes. It is
D :often difficult to warm up to someone who does not mince words and tells it
D :exactly like it is. The truth, when blunt and direct, can be uncomfortable.
D :But when all's said and done, we know it's because he cares about his
D :crew.

::thinking::
Didn't Ronny Cox play the head of the syndicate that tried to kill Arnold
Schwarznegger in "Total Recall?"

Ew, I'm not THAT evil!

D :Risk-takers, dashing, dominant, strong, tenacious and thoughtful,
D :these guys have what it takes to command the Federation Flagship
D :Enterprise and *bonk* the Cardassians. Love 'em, hate 'em, or just be
D :in awe, but these guys rule!
D :
D :"I don't want to talk about it. Get it done"

Me, forward and a risk-taker??

D :
D :
D :
D :--
D :Drumboys is brought to you by Fiver, Shammie, Wave, and Chris.
D :And me, Sock!!

Thanks guys. (I think)
