sounds like a Rott doberman mix, I've seen a few of them
around.

If he's the typical rott he'll be glad of the attention. I
wasn't a big fan, I always liked dobermans though, until I
rescued Roxy. Since then though I"m a big fan. Best darned house or
store guard you could find, yet friendly with
folks.
