Bob Falfa (55 Chevy) while racing Milner (yellow duece coupe) did that in
American Graffiti. As Milner pulls to a stop at the red light that Falfa
ran;
14yo ride along: "Boy, he's fast!"
Milner: "Yeah, but he's stupid!"

RN> You mean it was like a Tempest? (-:
In a storm. Like we used to say back then, All go and no slow.
RW>> I always thought it was a lot of fun trying to find that one. :o)
RN> You will, in a place you won't expect it.
Pontiac (or should I say; SLP) built Firebirds like they did SS Z28s. I
hadn't owned my Z28 for very long and I ran into one of them. That's when
I realized how much power the LS engine made compared to the LT engines.
That Firebird was rated at the same 305HP as my Z28, but it didn't make
that HP at the rear wheels (mine did). I didn't at the time, realize that
I knew the guy driving it. He had owned a 2nd gen Z28 before and I didn't
know he had traded up. Of course, he didn't know it was me who beat him,
as I had owned a 95 Z28 and had totaled it a month or so before.
