PURPOSES:     The     North    American    Native     Fishes 
Association_NANFA_was  founded  to  bring  together   people interested in 
fishes native to this continent for scientific purposes   or   aquarium  
study;  to   encourage   increased scientific,  conservation,  and aquaristic 
 appreciation  of native fishes through observation, study, and research;  
and to assemble and distribute information on native fishes.
