Butting in Tom,
I've recently built a computer based on a 686-100MHz chip also and I am very
happy with it. I used some components from a 386DX40 and was left with a
stripped down 386 that I sold to offset the new one. That's the background,
NOW what I would like to ask is how do I save money on building another 686
from the ground up? Swap meet and other prices from cheap deals in the green
guide won't give me a total lower than than some dealers. How do I buy
components so that I save overall given my labour isn't being factored in?
Regards,
John Ascenzo
