REED SORENSON (No. 41 Target Dodge Charger)

NOTE: Sorenson led the way in Saturday's first practice session.

"The car was pretty good in the first practice, but the sun just came out and
we'll get a better feel for it in Happy Hour today. It's a new car. All three
Ganassi teams have new cars here. It's really nothing special. It's just
something we didn't have and now we do. The 40 car has a similar setup, and
we were both pretty good in the first practice. I think we've got a good car
for the Busch race, too, so I'm really looking forward to getting some seat
time today and having a good race here tomorrow. Hopefully we can get another
top 10. I know the car will be good enough for a top 10 or maybe even a top
five if we can catch a break here and there."

DAVID STREMME (No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Charger)

NOTE: Stremme was third fastest in the first Cup practice session Saturday.

"Yesterday was the first time on track with this car. We didn't have a lot of
time on ours, but we go it in the show. We adjusted some stuff this morning,
and it seems be pretty good. Reed and I are pretty close. Casey is a little
different, but I think they're going to change over. That's what teammates
are for. It's paying off being able to share information.

"We haven't been near where we wanted. We've turned it around quite a bit,
but it's a building process. We went through a crew chief change, but we
still haven't got the results we wanted. I haven't really been down on
myself. I've actually been pretty happy with the way things are going. We've
changing a lot of stuff and it just takes some time to get results. Our team
was brand new at the beginning of the year. We rebuilt about eight races in
and it's going to take time.

"It's a lot more competitive in Cup. Instead of 10 good teams you've got 40
good teams. We didn't start out very good. It hurt us in the points. We
didn't have a notebook to go by. I was with Chip and Felix, but I was out of
house. We learned some things at Chicago last week that we'll definitely do
different when we go to Kansas. It's a learning process. We're building for
next year, but I think we're getting better.

"I like the way it's shaping up for next year. I think Juan coming in will be
a big boost for our organization. He's had success in everything he's been
in, and when he comes here I think he'll have success, too. We'll be able to
learn from him, and he'll be able to learn from Reed and myself, too. I think
he'll adapt very well.

"I'm really looking forward to the race tomorrow. It might be hard to pass
here, but if your car is good you can pass, and I think our car is pretty
good right now. It's probably the best car I've had all year, so I'm eager to
see how we do in the race Sunday."
