From: Garey Barrell Subject: Re: [drakelist] TR-3 chassis caps Garey Barrell made an utterence to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dave - These are all "paper" caps, and as such may be replaced with just about any of the popular "Orange Drop" style caps. Polyester, metalized film, polypropylene, film & foil, etc. Generally speaking, capacitors smaller than 1 microfarad are almost always "paper" capacitors and those larger than 1 uF are almost always "electrolytic" capacitors. Electrolytics are also "polarized" and will have some sort of marking to identify the Positive (+) or Negative (-) end. 73, Garey - K4OAH Atlanta Drake C-Line Service Manual http://hr99.home.mindspring.com/R-4C_Servicez/> LeMoine Family wrote: >"LeMoine Family" made an utterence to the drakelist gang >---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Inside the chassis of the TR-3 are 5 caps (.47 & .1 MFD).
