Goodyear to stay?

(29-Jul-98) - Speculation that Goodyear will not quit Formula 1 at the end
of the season has been heightened by Rory Bryne's recent comments on
signing a new contract with the tyre manufacturers.

Ferrari's chief designer said in the respected Italian sports newspaper
Gazzetta dello Sport that the team were 'very close' to signing a new
contract with Goodyear.
