Today Shammie walked on stage, wiggled said hiney and
spoke to the members of alt.tv.star-trek.next-gen:
S :What if, at this point in your life, you suddenly found out that you were a
S :hologram and that your whole life and all your experiences had all happened on
S :a holodeck?
Erm,
in that case I'd rewrite my subroutines and rewind/play my life over
again. Revisionist history would really come in handy about here...
S :This would not really compare to Moriarty, who *developed* more and more
S :sentience. This would assume that you've always had that level of sentience,
S :the only thing being that you never knew you were a hologram.
OK.
