JMS did leave the show due to issues with MGM (not Showtime).  He doesn't have
any say over whether the show is released on DVD, though.  I believe that that's
up to MGM.

The Sci-Fi channel is about to start showing episodes on Thursday nights.  I'm
sure they'll be a sanitized version but it it gets good enough ratings hopefully
both seasons will be shown.

Otherwise, I've heard that you can see the second season via Netflix' streaming
online video.  I believe that only works if you're in the States.
