Daniele is on a Mac, where it's 1m.  Similarly for *BSD (from where Macs
get their dd).  On Linux it's 1M.

It's really rather annoying they have this difference.

(you can do without the 'bs' blocksize setting, but the copy will go a lot
more slowly as it'll copy one byte at a time)
