I never thought about that, Bob .... I'll be sure to keep a sharp watch
n
her for that ....... thanks for the advice!

Yes, I keep BUTE paste and Banamine (sp) too ..... and yes, my vet DOES
agree that keeping an "emergency kit" is worth it and makes sure I have
everything I mgiht need (LOVE the vet we have -- she'll come out in the
iddle
of the night with no complaints and when "Baby" was so sick, she came out 3
different times between 5pm and 5am the next morning .....)
Thanks for the advice though ...... BTW, we also keep Penniciln (sp),
various kinds of syringes and needles, bandage tape, all kinds of bandages,
peroxide, alcohol, Scarlet Oil, that yellow sticky stuff -- feels like
vasoline
and is yellow, Wonder Dust, Aloe and Alovara (sp) cream, scissors, along with
our BUTE and Banamine ..... It seems to me that I have other stuff out there
too but just can't remember exactly what I have on hand. I do go through the
stuff from time to time to make sure I've got most emergencies covered
Also have pliers, screwdriver and hammer (just in case someone looses a shoe
and I have to pull it off before the farrier can get here).
If there's anything else you think I might need out at the barn please
et
me know ..... I think we've got most of it covered now ;-)
