My habit is over 11 years old and going strong .  My job 
causes me to use most of the commonly available OS's.  I'd 
recommend finding a friend that uses NT that would let you
play around with it before making the jump...In an attempt
to stay semi on topic all I will say is "The grass may appear
greener but it's not, the grass is far greener and taller
where you are."
