BD>HN> Heh, try hauling an 8X10 field camera up and down a mountain..
BD> Honestly can't recall having climbed any mountains..
HN> Well you don't have too many mountains in Lousiana!
HN> C'mon out west and you don't get a choice!
Had plenty in North Geogia and Arkansas does all right, though
theirs aren't as majestic as the Rockies. Lived in Southern
California a couple of years, too, and had decent foothills
just minutes away! Seventeen states have been called home at
one time or another, so for now I'm enjoying the flatlands.
BD>HN> ..a dozen film holders, several lenses, tripod, ect. ect...I do
BD>HN> it with 4X5 and that's the only reason I'll never go 8X10!
BD> Once you develop the necessary muscle tone it won't be so hard!
HN> Sure, easy for you to say...you ain't the one trying to haul
HN> all that stuff up the trail at 5 am!
I've had *my* turn.. Now, it's YOURS!! Hehhehheh
BD>BD> Besides, I sold the only Minox I ever had many years ago
BD>HN> Hmmm, wanna sell any of your other stuff?
BD> I think there's one more 8x10 view in storage..
HN> Hmmmm, I could use a nice biiiig camera...I need to get back
HN> into shape! Is the bellows still light tight?
Bound to be rotten by now. That was an OLD camera when I used it
last, some 20-ish years ago, best I can recall. It's for times
when some young advertising "expert" insists upon 8x10 originals,
in transparency format. First, I warn him, "it's going to cost."
If they don't know any better and tend to be insistent, to boot,
I'll help them learn!
HN> I'd be more interested in 4X5 gear.
Keep being so nice and doing a good job here! You might inherit
in my will! Hehhehheh
... Nice curves, yes; but there's a vacancy in the penthouse.
