BK :>Is anyone there?? or are we all so busy?
A little! Just got back from Florida (Palm BAy, Jean) for my daughter's
wedding! (Second time around...much better choice this time!!!). It was
wonderful, and she was GORGEOUS!!! Also did a day at EPCOT...I think I
walked my feet off!
And, Fiddle is still lame as he**. Got the vet coming back again...I'm also
going to call another vet in the area who does only lameness work. She has a
great rep. and I'm tired of this futzing around. We've tried increasing
angles, decreasing angles, padding, etc., and nothing seems to help. The last
round included decreasing angles, bringing her heel way down, etc., and that
seems to only have made things worse. The farrier thinks this is residual
stuff from the laminitis; the vet thinks it's a combination of post-lam.
stuff, calcification on the sesamoid, and the fact that her right leg is
slightly shorter than the left. THis has been going on and off since early
summer, and I'm sick and tired of it!! Not to mention what my poor little
horse has gone through......
Been lurking though, and will catch up on mail when I have the time.
Meg
