Nope, when the disk fills, the server doesn't crash.  Just generates messages 
that it's not happy.  It's more troublesome if the SYS volume fills.  But 
even then, the server keeps on chugging and notifies everyone it's in 
trouble.  Been there, done that.  Disks filling up don't cause the server to 
crash.  If they did, I'd have server crashing every day, multiple times a
