Yes.  If they were explosive rounds instead of solids, they are destructive
devices.  Most owners of automatic cannons use solid rounds, unless they
are DD dealers.  Otherwise, they have to pay a $200 tax on each round. 
I'll _bet_ he didn't fire many.
