I use Borland C++ 5.02. It uses a Windows Based IDE, and you could just use
command line commands if you like. I really feel the IDE makes things easier
to work with, and you can use it for DOS programs. I write DOS programs, but
not Windows 95. :) You could also check into Turbo C++. I believe the
newest version is 3.1???
