I don't know that the fireworks p*sses them off, I do know that the
explosions *scare* them.  Particularly when some idiot kid intentionally
throws a firecracker toward the dog.

When I lived in town I kept my dogs inside for several days before and after
the 4th.  Now that I'm out here in the boonies with the nearest neighbor 1/4
milw away it isn't much of an issue...
