BAR sign first driver

(16-Jul-98) - British American Racing have signed Jean-Christophe Boullion
as test driver, effective immediately.

"Jean-Christophe is recognised as one of the top test drivers in
Formula One, and has enormous experience in testing F1 cars," said
BAR's managing director Criag Pollock.

"He possesses a solid understanding of the engine package. I am
delighted to have him in our new set up."

The highly rated Frenchman is a former F3000 champion and has Formula One
experience as Williams test driver and from 11 Grands Prix starts with
Sauber,

Boullion will start work with the Tyrrell team, owned by BAR, almost immediately.
