Well, here is the problem...The Tr7 is solid with the exception of a =
slight warble in the receiver. When sitting on a frequency listening to =
a cw signal or just tuned to the calibrator, the frequency will shift =
perhaps 80 or 100 cycles. Enough to be audible and annoying. This =
started shortly after I cleaned the main shaft of the PTO with De Oxit =
and followed up with a clean q tip to remove the residue. I have =
cleaned the PTO's on my 4 line many times and not experienced this. I =
think it is the PTO but I thought I would throw this one out to the =
group for comments and advice.
