LP>I was given a tour of the local remand centre and I was very relieved
>when I got out of the building. My idea in going there was to see the
>drunk tank because we'd sometimes get calls at the poison centre where I
>worked about people in the drunk tank who seemed to be more than merely
>drunk.

of an entire day one time, talking with lifers. The air smlled so sweet
when I finally left there.
LP>The YWCA was across the street and I was told that male prisoners would
>yell 'show us your tits' (can I say that on Fidonet?) and some women
>would stand at the YWCA windows and oblige them. Ah, romance!
There are women who marry those guys, too, you know.
