This is like saying other computers were the death of the Amiga. It was the
organization and lack of innovation that killed it, same with Fidonet. And of
course the toxic community only accelerated the decline.

I'm not sure what you mean with "no power in Fidonet". Do you believe that
Fidonet is a perfect anarchy and abuse of power never happened? I'm just
reading some mails from 1993 about the coup in R24 - history tells a different
story.
Why do you want to change P4 at all?
