Thank you for this. You are correct, IRQ was in use. I have re-
assigned the IRQ on both cards to be IRQ10. The card on the WFWG 
machine appears to be recognised and functioning, that on the W95 
machine does not. It has been suggested to me elsewhere that I 
get rid of the old ArtiSoft cards and replace them with more 
current PNP cards. Thanks again.
