This is generally called ICK (or ICH)...
Symtom -
White sugar like crystals on fins or body of fish
Problem -
ICK (or ICH)
Cause -
Ichthyophthirius Multitillis, a parasitic protozoan
ICK can be spread to other aquariums/fish by
water transfer (splash, nets, etc).
Use an appropriate ICK treatment (Ick Guard, by Jungle Labs, for example)
AG> Then one of the goldfish started going to the bottom and swaying back and
AG> forth, as if it were trying to swim. Eventually it died, so we looked
Molly Disease
Symptom -
Fish stay in one place but wiggle, wag or shimmy.
Problem -
Livebearer Disease or Molly Disease.
Cause -
Water lacks electrolytes needed for metabolism.
This isn't really a 'disease', but merely water that lacks what the fish
needs.
Use an appropriate 'tank starter' and some formal 'Molly Disease' treatment
such as Molly Bright (also by Jungle Labs).
As you can tell, Jungle products are a stample at my local fish place.
AG> But about a week later, we woke up one morning and ALL the fish

What size tank?
Did the water get cloudy or smell?
How many goldfish did you add?
How often did you check the ammmonia content?
Goldfish create a lot of ammonia and will quickly KILL off an established
tank if you're not carefull.
AG> going to talk to the manager. But in the meantime, could somebody please
You might get the goldfish replaced because it developed ICK, but around
ere,
they limit you to 7 days, after that you are on your own.
AG> tell me if we were to late, if the disease was uncurable or the disease
n
AG> goldfish was and it spread, or whatever...
It was curable.
If you saw the white spots on all of them, it may be safe to say it spread
from the goldfish, but it sounds more like the rest of the fish died from
ammonia poisoning/bad water levels. :(
