I can't imagine why I'm able to get message in this echo but my previous posts have apparently not gotten anywhere... so I'll try again.... MSGED v4 is the first OS/2 version that has me working as comfortably as with the DOS 2.1a that I have now been able to retire. I do though have a few problems/nits (using the MSGED4MP executables with Warp 3, no fixpacks): - I have a monochrome screen and the blinking cursor bar is driving me batty. I have renamed moo.col to msged.col and uncommented the keyword line in the .cfg, but the cursor still blinks. Is there a way to convert the bar to just reverse highlighting? - When replying to a Private message in any message base *other than netmail* the flags default to CraLoc. Shouldn't the flag options default to matching the flags on the original message? - When reading in reverse order, if you delete a message the screen is refreshed not with the next lower message but with the message that was the next higher than the message that was deleted. Shouldn't the deletion continue the display in the reverse read order? - A request: v2.1a had a feature whereby when in the BADMSGS, DUPES or NETMAIL areas when you did an Alt-L header listing you could do an Alt-A that would toggle on/off a display of the node number associated with the To/From fields. I found this very handy to enable a quick check on whether any bad or dupe messages had originated from my downlinks. If possible, I'd like to see this feature back again. Thanks again to all that contributed toward v4. I'm now down to one DOS program for which I haven't found an adequate replacement . Bert --- Msged/2 4.00* Origin: The I.O.
