subject: Can you help me?

Hello Bill,
I have come across a transceiver radio of some sort but I do not know
what it is I was wondering if you could help me identify it?
The name on the unit says "YAESU/ftc-2635" the front panel from the left
is a reset button labeled as such, above is three LED's marked TX, BUSY,
CALL moving to the right is a display marked CHANNEL then two buttons
with arrows for up and down then volume squelch then one three way
toggle marked PRI 1, PRI 2, OFF then a two way push toggle marked SCAN
and OFF then a power button. Written on a label on the cover is
CHAN (10) READS 06 = 145.010 MHZ
CHAN (10) READS 06 = 145.000 MHZ
CHAN (13) READS 06 = 146.190 MHZ
CHAN (15) READS 06 = 147.555 MHZ
This unit does NOT work looks like somebody hit it with a hammer just
minor damage a couple if transistors and capacitors
Any help would be appreciated.
