Since I picked up a new compiler I've been watching for changes but wasn't sure that I had everything. Fortunately the recent release of MSGED v4.00 obsoletes the older changes. I don't see that this will help you at all with I have Microsoft's Visual C compiler and was thinking of trying to build a 32 bit version. Before anybody tells me I can't do it, I haven't had time to take a good look at the compiler and maybe it isn't possible but it seemed like a good idea. From a quick scan of the MSGED code I expected to have to come up with a new make file, changes to the MSGAPI library and replacements for the assembler routines for i/o (no longer present as of MSGED 4.00). I had expected that the OS/2 version would be a 32 bit application. PE> Windows/95, but even if it did, you already have all the changes. BFN.
