The FTSC job is documenting standards, not enforcement, it's up to you to
decide if you want to do it or not.

I may be wrong but I haven't seen anything from FTSC for a long while or
feedback to fidonet sysops on what's being worked on etc.

There is a process to change them, use it if they are so annoying.
