The President should accept responsiblity.  The words came out of his
mouth, and he is, after all, the Leader of the Free World.  Unless he
really is a puppet, saying the words that Uncle Dick and Uncle Rummy tell
him to say.

This very petty business of abrogating responsiblity for his own words and
blaming underlings is as demeaning to the Office as anything Clinton did
and is, in fact, starting to look like a re-run of the Clinton years, ast
least insofar as accepting responsiblity for one's actions are concerned.
