Here are instructions on how I gate mailing lists into my BBS software with
irex and my tosser.

1) I configure a point address for the "Uplink" of the mailing
list.  In your
node manager configure a point.

2) rexcfg > Email Setup > Let's create one.  I'm going to use the DFSee list
as my example here.
  - Address ID: DFSEE
  - username: mlistgate (My "username" for email account)
  - domain name: rogers.com
  - Mail Spool Type: Connect to POP3/SMTP
    - fill in  your email information here.

  - Use for Outbound Mail: Yes
  - Use for Inbound  Mail: Yes
  - Domain Controlled here: No
  - Multiuser address: Yes   (I get all maiing lists to this addy)
  - Recipient: Search support{at}dfsee.com for Matching messages only.

  - No filters configured.

3) Gateway Setup
  - Gateway Address: (The point I created above)
  - Gateway Username: UUCP
  - Setup Gates
    - Gateway Address: 1:229/452.2
    - Messages Gated: Echomail  Email
    - Messages Saved to: Type 2+ packet
    - Gate through: dfsee (The above connection)
    - username: mlistgate
    - Echomail area: DFSEE
    - Fido Address: 1:229/452.0
    - Remote's email address: dfseesupport{at}yahoogroups.com
    - Org as Origin: YES
    - Over ride gateway defaluts: NO

Now configure your tosser to toss to the DFSEE "echo" with the
point as your
uplink etc.

That setting has worked for me under both Max & Fastecho/2, and now under
Windows with PXW as the tosser.
