I'm using Binkley/2 2.60, which has worked fine for me since it came out (as
did previous versions of Bink/2.) Recently, my echomail source switched
mailers to Platinum Express for NT, and now we can no longer exchange mail.
Our systems connect, exchange YooHoos, and then disconnect. On my end, I get
a sys1808 error, exception 0005. Here are a couple of entries from
popuplog.os2:

Today, out of desperation, I tried Bink 2.60 for dos, loaded in a dos session
under os/2. I used the same binkley.cfg, and made no other changes. No
problems at all. The systems connected, exchanged YooHoos, and transferred
the mail (five days worth!) It appears to me that Bink/2 and Platinum
Express don't get along. Is there anything I can do on my end besides go
through the hassle and CPU use of running Bink/dos and spawning Maximus/2
from it?
Thanks for any help. *adh*
