1995 NATIONAL NASVO/VOCAL CONFERENCE; TUCSON, AZ
 
SEPTEMBER 8, 9, 10  1995
 
VOCAL/NASVO is proud to announce it's eleventh annual National Conference,
to be held at the beautiful EMBASSY SUITES, located at the Tucson
International Airport, in sunny Tucson, Arizona.
 
This lovely setting will host a number of experts in the field of child
abuse and neglect, concerning false accusations, and will focus on law,
mental health, medicine, repressed memory, and suggestibility of children
and adults during therapy or the investigative process.  Such experts will
include Dr. Ralph Underwager, Hollida Wakefield, from the Institute of
Psychological Therapies, in Minnesota; Dr. David Ross, PH.D., from the
University of Tennessee, and who assisted Dr. Steven Ceci in Cornell
University's research on the suggestibility of children.  Dr. Paul Simpson,
Ph.D, from Project Middle Ground, a family mediation center for repressed
memory cases, in Tucson, Arizona.  Other mental health experts including
Dr. Lee Coleman, M.D. from California, regarding testimony and research,
and Patricia Wills, Ph.D. regarding attachment disordered children are to
present.  Attorneys from various legal expertise will also be presenting.
