We may have to-since we can't get him to return our calls-What gets me
is that he wants more money-but he hasn't fulfilled the original contract
that he agreed to.  That one stated that he would take the case all the
way through a trial by jury.  He hasn't.

No, he hasn't been-and we didn't know anything about that.  When we finally
contact the lawyer, we're going to request that he give us a copy of all 
of the files concerning our case-and if he refuses, we'll take it to the 
state Bar association.

Your friends are lucky if they've found a state rep who'll help.  We've
been in touch with Kay Bailey Hutchinson's office and while they helped
us get some information, that was about it.  We also contacted one of
our STATE senators-but the trouble with both of them in this area is that
they are female and on a politically correct crusade regarding child abuse
offenders.  One of them came out in public about how terrible deferred
adjudication was in these cases, and the other wants to put an "S" on the
driver's license of anyone convicted of sexual abuse of a child.  God,
I love out P.C. society.  Don't you?
... I haven't lost my mind; it's backed up on tape somewhere!
