The backbone of Fidonet is the network-structure.
I know what you are saying, but I've seen enough cases when people started to
rely on a particular individual to deliver mail straight to destination ...
then that particular individual drops out and the initial author of the message
doesn't know anymore how to send it on its way.
The single method that should always work is the tree-structure of the
network...
