  A few years back, they put Work Study through the NSW RTA offices
and it made a *hell* of a difference. I used to stand there for an
hour filling in time watching the duplication and inefficiency, but
when they fixed it they went even further than *I* would have done.
They sacked half the staff and cut time by three... so now it runs up
against the limit of the fuckwits we have in the general public
nowadays: twits who turn up to pay a licence without money, drugged
no-hopers who transfer registration papers with no papers; wogs who
can't speak English and have never heard of a pink slip; Asians who
try to bribe the girl behind the counter; mothers who hand brochures
to their children to tear up...

  As I said - this is the one advantage of the Gold Licence.
