Hello Gary,

Very interesting about the SL8000 in an R-4C. As I understand it the AM IF
of the R-4C is the same as the TR7 IF, not so for SSB and CW unfortunately.
I wonder if you made any attempt to properly match the filter. There is a
big difference between the 50 ohms of the SL8000 and the 1K of the R-4C
filters. I would expect an odd shape without proper matching. Does it seem
flat within the passband and does it look symmetrical?
